Terms and Conditions

1. Acceptance

Your access to and use of Bus and Barrel is subject exclusively to these Terms and Conditions. You will not use the Website for any purpose that is unlawful or prohibited by these Terms and Conditions. By using the Website you are fully accepting the terms, conditions and disclaimers contained in this notice. All tour bookings, reservations and participants of any type of tour operated by Bus and Barrel acknowledge that they have fully read and understood these Terms and Conditions prior to making a booking or reservation and that they are fully acceptable and binding and form our agreement to accept you for travel on any tour. If you do not accept these Terms and Conditions you must immediately stop using this Website.

2. Tours: itinerary change and missed tours

Tours are subject to change without prior notice, including times, itinerary, prices and activities, which are subject to availability and local schedules.

Operator reserves the right to the use of alternative vehicles without notice, in the case of unavailability of regular vehicle.

Bus and Barrel may offer complimentary pickup and drop off services for certain tours. Each tour will have its own list of pickup / drop off terms and can be viewed on each tour page. Please note it is the customer’s responsibility to be waiting out the front of your selected pickup location at least 5 minutes before departure. Failure to wait out the front of your selected location may result in the tour guide being unable to locate you, causing failure to load. Bus and Barrel cannot be held responsible for passengers who fail to load.

3. Passengers age and Conditions

Bus and Barrel expects that the client of his/her agent will advise of any injury or condition (past or present) that may affect or compromise the clients ability to travel, mobility in general and/or overall level of comfort and safety.

Passengers under the age of 18 are welcome on board at adult prices at the discretion of the operator, however no alcohol component will be provided. Proof of age may be requested from all passengers on board.

4. Disclaimer and Limitation of liability

Bus and Barrel does not accept liability for lost or stolen property

By booking with us you acknowledge that participation in all our tours involves inherent risks that may not be present in other tours. These risks include, without limitation, the possibility of injury or death, psychological trauma, loss or damage to property, inconvenience and discomfort. No liability will be accepted in the likely event of any person suffering an injury or accident as a participant of any tour conducted by Bus and Barrel.

5. Vehicle Cleanliness or Damage

We do expect our customers to clean up after themselves and dispose of any rubbish generated during the trip. We reserve the right to impose a fee for any damage done to the car/bus/coach or any out of the ordinary cleaning made necessary by our passengers.

A minimum fee of $200 will apply to any damage or spillage on our bus. We reserve the right to charge your credit card without authorisation from you to cover the costs for any damage incurred by you or by guests you booked.

Any individual, group coordinator or key contact is required to provide a valid credit card number as security at the time of booking which in the event of any reported damage or theft, however minor, will be utilised to pay for relevant repairs, charges and associated costs.

6. Behavior

Smoking, eating and alcohol consumption is strictly prohibited on board the tour vehicles at all times, unless an application for a one-off Liquor licence is lodged. The operator reserves the right to refuse boarding at their discretion. Cleaning fees may apply.

7. Responsible consumption of alcohol

The responsible consumption of alcohol policy applies during all tours and for all customers, and passengers are responsible for their own wellbeing. Tour and travel insurance is strongly recommended.

8. Making a booking and payment

Quotations are valid for a period of 7 days and bookings are not confirmed until a deposit is paid and payment is received by Bus and Barrel.

Bookings made within 30 days of tour commencement must be paid in full to secure a reservation.

Final payment – unless otherwise agreed in writing, the final payment must be received by Bus and Barrel no later than 28 days prior to the tour commencement.

Online Bookings – full payment is required for all tours made online at time of booking.

9. Cancellation Policy

A 50% deposit of fee quoted is required to confirm the booking of the tour, with the balance due a minimum of 30 days before the scheduled departure. Confirmation will be provided via email. In some cases, the required deposit to secure a booking might be reduced to a flat fee of $300.

A 50% of tour cancellation penalty applies for client cancellations between 8-30 days notice. Client cancellations with less than 7 days notice or no-show will incur a 100% cancellation penalty.

All other cancellations where at least 30 days notice is given, will be refunded and will incur in a $59 admin fee. A full refund will be provided in the case of operator cancellations.

Booking fees are non-refundable.

Please note for partial cancelations (one or more guests are unable to participate), the general refund policy stated above on this paragraph applies to the group. Credit vouchers can be requested, however it will be at our own discretion to approve the request.

9. Overtime Charges

In the event that the drop-off of passengers exceeds the initially provided itinerary, additional time will be billed at a rate of $69 per hour, with no provision for split hours. A grace period of 15 minutes will be extended beyond the scheduled drop-off time. Clients are hereby informed that the company reserves the right to charge the credit card provided during the booking process in accordance with the overtime charges incurred. It is imperative for clients to ensure that accurate drop-off times are communicated to avoid any additional charges. The client acknowledges and agrees to the billing terms outlined herein, and any disputes regarding overtime charges will be subject to resolution in accordance with the company’s policies.

10. Severance

If any of these Terms and Conditions should be determined to be invalid, illegal or unenforceable for any reason by any court of competent jurisdiction then such Term or Condition shall be severed and the remaining Terms and Conditions shall survive and remain in full force and effect and continue to be binding and enforceable.
