FAQs

What is included in a private wine tour?2026-05-31T15:58:45+09:30

Our private wine tours include a dedicated driver, luxury vehicle, itinerary planning assistance, and door-to-door pickup and drop-off from Adelaide or surrounding areas. Depending on the package selected, winery tasting fees and lunch may also be included.

How long does a wine tour last?2026-05-31T15:58:45+09:30

Our wine tours are designed as full-day experiences and typically operate for approximately 7.5 hours.

The exact duration may vary slightly depending on the wineries visited, lunch venue, and pickup location, but our itineraries are carefully planned to ensure a well-paced and enjoyable day.

Do you offer pickup from my hotel or suburb?2026-05-31T15:58:45+09:30

Yes. We provide door-to-door pickup (and drop-off) from and to Adelaide CBD hotels, private residences, Airbnb accommodations, Adelaide Airport, and most metropolitan Adelaide suburbs.

If you are staying outside the Adelaide metropolitan area, please contact us prior to booking and we will be happy to confirm availability and any additional travel requirements.

Can we choose which wineries to visit?2026-05-31T15:58:45+09:30

Yes. Private tours can be fully customised around your preferred wineries, lunch venues, wine styles, and interests (when you choose our Tailor Made Package). Alternatively, we can recommend an itinerary based on our local knowledge and experience, or you can select our Silver or Gold packages if you prefer a fully-inclusive option.

Are tasting fees and lunch included?2026-05-31T15:58:45+09:30

This depends on the tour package and wineries visited. Our gold and silver tier packages include tasting fees and lunch, while our tailor made package allow guests to pay directly at each cellar door for maximum flexibility.

How many wineries can you visit in a day?2026-05-31T15:58:45+09:30

For a relaxed and enjoyable wine touring experience, we generally recommend visiting 3 to 4 wineries during a full-day tour. This allows plenty of time to enjoy each tasting, take in the surroundings, and enjoy lunch without feeling rushed.

Our Silver Package typically includes visits to 3 wineries, providing a comfortable pace and ample time at each venue.

Our Gold Package typically includes visits to 4 wineries, making the most of your day while still maintaining a relaxed schedule.

While it is possible to visit more wineries, we find that 3 to 4 carefully selected cellar doors offers the best balance of wine tasting, dining, sightseeing, and overall enjoyment.

Can non-drinkers join a wine tour?2026-05-31T15:58:45+09:30

Absolutely. We offer a reduced ticket for non-drinkers, who are welcome and can still enjoy the scenery, food experiences, cellar door atmosphere, and sightseeing throughout the day.
