How long do tours run for and how many wineries are included? 2018-02-01T00:15:08+00:00

The duration differs depending on the tour. Our McLaren Vale Tour goes for approx. 7 hours, departure is scheduled at 9.30 am and return is expected at approx. 17. You will visit a selection  of 4 wineries and cellar door during the tour.
Any tailor made tour duration is flexible and depends only on our customer preferences.

Is this a trick question? Cameras are most certainly permitted and photos are absolutely encouraged!

Yes, bathrooms are available at several of the food tasting locations and on site for all of our classes and dinners.

Can I book a private tour or activity for my group? 2018-02-01T00:01:23+00:00

Yes. Many of our tours and activities can be booked for private groups. All private tours are priced on application so email us at info@busandbarrel.com or fill our Tailor Made Tours request form to inquire.

What is Bus&Barrel Tours’ Cancellation Policy? 2018-02-01T00:12:18+00:00

Within 2 weeks of your tour or activity date, tickets are non-refundable and cannot be rescheduled. Tours run regardless of weather conditions. Due to the attention and organization that goes into each tour, please take careful note of our cancellation policies:

  • Cancellations must be communicated by email to the address listed in your confirmation email OR by phone no less than 14 days before scheduled departure time to request a refund
  • To change the time or date of a tour on existing reservations, an administration fee of €15 per person may be charged
  • Bus&Barrel retains the right to issue refunds at our discretion
What if I’m late? Can I join another tour or get a refund? 2018-02-01T00:19:59+00:00

If you’re running late, please call us on one of the numbers below to find out where to meet your guide and group if they have already left. As many of our tours sell out, it is generally not possible to join a later tour. Refunds will not be given for any portion of the tour missed due to lateness.

What happens when I make my online booking? 2018-02-01T00:07:49+00:00

When you complete your booking on our secure website you will receive an automated order confirmation containing booking details and e-ticket, plus meeting point information and departure times. Please print it out or save it on your electronic device and show it to our tour guide at the moment of boarding.
